Dr. Tehama Lopez Bunyasi CONF-301 Seungbin Kim 04/7/2020 Journal Entry #3: Studying Populations Both Rosa and Ngwenya focus their respective studies on a population that they, in some sense, are a member of. That is, they share an element of their own identity with the people whom their study is focused upon, unlike traditional academic researches. I think choosing to conduct research on own population that they are a member of may have a good impact on conflict analysis and resolution. What I mean is that, it is common tendency that people are more focus and pay more attention to the matter that they are involved. I think this method of research may help researcher to conduct their research more active and effective way. Because when the researcher was get involved with the their research topic or conflict, the researcher will take the research topic more seriously and think about how to resolve the conflict more.
