Case Incident 16.1 Fitzgerald Companies corporate, culture the way we do things around here is that they are in their comfort zone. They support or maintain the old behavior, such as rarely implementing cost reduction or process improvement projects and have high prices for their products. This is a continuation of how things have always been done. These existing values were established originally and are reinforced. The status quo is concentrated on new product development projects and growth in volume of their merchandise. Keeping in stock a large overhead of merchandise. There is a strong corporate culture of doing thing the same way. The Fitzgerald Company can be classified as a work hard/play hard culture which are characterized by little risk being taken and a strive for high quality customer service. The socialization culture of the company is that all executives have sales background and spend time with customers.
