What I do, I handle all the Linux, which handles all the Redhat and Solare servers. We have about sixty servers and multiple environments for production, QA, Pre-prod., development, training all of those different types of environments. We also handle the VM-ware environment that we have. We have about 20 servers running the M-ware. I report to the Director of Processing. I have a one report that goes to me and he is another Senior Unix administrator. The technical skills for this position that we use, is that we utilize all Unix base. So, we have to deal with command lines. Command had a trouble shoot problem. We work very closely with the application- and deviate- type folks, our database-type folks to investigate problems. You have to be very good in troubleshooting. That is a very important skill set to have. You have to be well rounded as welltroubleshooting....
