Conceptualizing Globalization Summarize the main features as espoused by the hyperglobalists . o On one extreme, it argues that capitalism and technology is changing the world order. Summarize the main features as espoused by the skeptics. On the opposite spectrum nothing is getting changed, rich getting poor, poor is getting better but will never catch up to the rich, the developed countries won’t be willing to give up their power. Summarize the main features as espoused by the transformationalists. Developing countries can move up and even catch up, Singapore, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan are great examples embraced free trade at the right time. Concepts of the Political Economy Summarize the main features of the Liberalism. Economics is good for everyone Summarize the main features of the Marxism. Class or the elite/controlling class to control the economy Summarize the main features of Mercantilism. Economics is good for their own country controlled by the state.
