Avoid information overload - Do not overload the audience, removing some pictures, and wording can help audience focus. Practicing Delivery - Practice the presentation several times, and eliminate all distrac- tions. Forget Comedy - The audience did not come to laugh, this is a business presentation Pick powerful props - Choose simple props that demonstrate the point Minimize yourself - Make the audience the main character, and you are helping them with a problem Speak the language - Always explain terms and acronyms Use Simple Slides - dont be like everyone else, dont rely on the slide projector to run the show Preparing myself for what I was about to read, I changed out of my work clothes and into sweat pants and a sweat shirt.
