Jason Wang English 102 10:30MT Essay #1 Wolff Teenagers Pregnancy  For most of human history, women become mothers when they’re teenagers.  Until the years before World War II, most girls got married within a short period of  reaching menarche, which usually happened when girls were 14 years old or younger.  Because there wasn’t any effective ways of contraception, they usually get pregnant soon  after they’re married. In fact, there were more teenage women who became parents in  1960 than there are now, but most of those women were married, or got married when  they’re pregnant.  There are some factors that are related to decreasing risk of becoming a teen  mother. Children who’re raised by both parents since birth tend to have a decreased  possibility of becoming sexually active. Teens who’re usually involved in their area of  worship tend to have onset of sexual activity lately. Teenagers whose parents talk about  sex with them are more likely to begin sexual relationships lately, as are adolescents
