Security Issues in Daily Life Paper 2 Security Issues in Daily Life Paper The intention of this policy is to make certain that the email system is used properly by the ABC Security’s Inc. staff. This policy will make the employees aware of what ABC Security’s deems to be acceptable and unacceptable usage, of its email system. ABC Security reserves the right to change or amend this policy at its discretion or when it deems necessary. In the event any of the email system policies have been updated or will be amended, all the users on this email system will be informed appropriately. The following plan will discuss why you as an employee should be concerned in regards to the legal risks, legal requirements, best practices when writing company email correspondence and personal use. Considering all the legal risks evolved when generating a company email, users will be obligated to use the business communication means in a responsible, effective and lawful manner. When generating company emails, you want to ensure that your emails do not contain any obscene remarks, potentially offensive comments or could be possibly viewed as a racist statement or joke that ABC Security and you can be held liable for. If you find yourself wanting to forward any emails, make sure that the emails do not contain any of the previously mentioned potentially negative attributes. The email that you forward or send to someone else may reach other unintended users and it will be traced back to you. Unlawfully forwarding or coping confidential messages without the companies permission can result in termination and can cause you and the company to be held liable for possible copyright infringement. These emails must be kept confidential and not be sent to anyone other than their intended recipient. The legal requirements of this policy strictly prohibit sending or forwarding of emails that may contain any obscene remarks, potentially offensive comments or viewed as a
