Unformatted text preview: Private Security Companies otherwise known as (PSCs), are companies that provide private security support services to the United States and other governments around the world. PSCs have played valuable roles in many recent and previous wars. The earliest know participation from the PSCs was back in the end of the Cold War. PSCs play vital roles which include the privatization of defense, security, and peacekeeping and reconstruction. These types of companies are very proficient in elevating and upholding all levels of security in unbalanced but economically vital locations around globe. The United States is one of several governments that employ private security contractors in locations such as Iraq. Private Security Contractors such as the company formerly known as Black Water were utilized in the place such as the Iraq war.
