CheckPoint: My View on Health Care 2 I agree to a certain extent with the argument that this student presents but there are things that cost more than the insurances are not willing to pay for. Like the example that the student gives, if a patient has to stay in the ICU it will max out their benefits. Then the patient will have to pay out of pocket for the amount the health insurance did not pay. What if that patient did not have the money to pay for the rest of the bill? Sometimes insurances put limits on kids healthcare, but when you looks at the cost of a child’s check up, vaccines and test that need to be done it costs more than what most insurances are willing to pay. How does that help the parents that have more than one child. I think that there should only be limits for patients that have good health and people that only what to use there insurances for cosmetic reasons. Children, elderly people, and people with severe illnesses should not have limited benefits at all....
