Here assume B and B/A the same value as mid-term exam question IV-1 (i.e. the value for H 2 O oxidation at 1100 o C), that is, B=0.53 µ m 2 /hr, B/A=2.9 µ m/hr. Transition takes place near the oxide thickness when the first term (parabolic) is equal to the second term (linear). In addition, you don’t need to give a plot. You don’t need to give any explanation. Instead, just give the oxide thickness after first step, second step, and the third (final) step.
