The null hypothesis was accepted after conducting the experiment and analyzing the data. The slope of our control fish is -0.0157, and our experimental fish is -0.0150 in trial 1. In trial 2, the slope of oxygen consumption for the control fish is -0.0071, and the experimental fish is -0.008. The slopes of the control and experimental fish are really close, and the slopes of almost all them are lower when the light was applied than in the control in all eight trials. Increasing the light generally decreased the metabolism in most of the 8 trails, but the decrease is
