PSY/220 Fostering Commitment 3 One of my biggest goals besides obtaining my Master’s degree is losing weight. I have gained weight back that I lost after I gave birth to my daughter. It has been an up and down hill battle for me as my weight goes down and up. I am trying to lose weight permanently so I can be healthy again and feel better about myself. I feel as if this goal is one of my more important goals and it will take a tremendous amount of commitment as well as dedication to be able to reach my goal. If I look for meaning in my goal, I will understand more why I must accomplish my goal.(Bolt, M. 2004) In my case I know that if I don’t get to a healthy weight it could cause health problems later in life and this is one of the major motivations that I have with this goal. I am making the choice to better my over- all health. I believe that if I enact my commitments I will be more likely to succeed. If I have a can do or
