Unformatted text preview: Dr. Harrington, After my appointment today I went home and did some research on the internet regarding HRT. I know that based on my findings I am going to have to decline your recommendation that I start this program. The risk factors alone have basically led me to my final decision to not had Hormone Replacement Therapy to my already hectic life. I am not sure if you are aware of all negatives associated with HRT and being so I thought to include them here for your review. I also read that there is continued research being done due to the fact that since the initial stand still on the use of HRT there have been findings that indicate there may be a possibility that the risk factors that have previously been associated with HRT are geared towards an older population of menopausal women and that women under a certain age may actually benefit from HRT. This however has not been proven as of yet. certain age may actually benefit from HRT....
