BLKGACLPBJBJ It is astounding that every 33 seconds in the United States a person dies from  Cardiovascular disease.    Cardiovascular disease  has been the leading cause of  death in the American population every year  since 1900 excluding 1  year which  was in 1918.  Statistics show that the smoking is a major accelerator in the  development of Cardiovascular disease.  This is why our group Save My Heart is  here today to appeal to our legislation to ban the use of cigarettes in all public  places.  This would include places where children play and people gather.  If we are  able to curb the places where individuals are allowed to smoke we could eliminate  the rate in which second hand smoke has been a factor in the development of  cardiovascular disease.   Many people who have been diagnosed with cardiovascular illness have never been  smokers.  However, being in surroundings of people who had been or are smokers
