SWOTT Analysis of Candy Business 2 SWOTT Analysis of the Candy business The SWOTT analysis of the company is based on the several business environmental factors. Environmental analysis is the evaluation, monitoring and dissemination of information from the external and internal environment to the key people in the organization (Bradford & Duncan, 2000). This is used by the Candy business to ensure its long term profit by avoiding the hurdles, which might come in the way of effective strategic planning (Kotler, 2002). It constitutes two parts one is internal environmental analysis and another is external environmental analysis (Payne & Frow, 2005). The main considerations of the external forces and trends are Legal and regulatory, global, economic, technological, innovation, social, environmental, competitive analysis (Bradford & Duncan, 2000). On the other hand, the main considerations of the internal forces and trends are strategy, structures, processes and systems, resources, goals, strategic capabilities, culture, technologies, innovations, intellectual property, and leadership (Pierce & Robinson, 2004). The SWOTT analysis of these factors is helpful to understand the strength, weakness, opportunity, threats and trends of each factor individually with the concern of the company.
