Phase 2 Individual Project 1 2 Abstract It is the purpose of this paper to address the financial needs of a fictional company called, Whisper Corporation, in which I will provide them with a balance sheet and an income statement complete with vertical and horizontal, common-size analysis of each on an Excel Spreadsheet (separate submission). I will further inform Whisper Corp. of the meaning of vertical and horizontal common-size analysis. I will also draw conclusions about evident trends reveled by the vertical and horizontal analysis and explain the significance of these trends in order that they may present these analysis to outside individuals such as loan officers, investors, and other analysts. My correspondence to Whisper Corp. will be in the form of a two page Memo.
