By the end of this lab you should be able to: 1.Use ‘help’ command on a MATLAB window to identify how various commands work. 2.Identify basic mathematical functions and be familiar to use the functions and plot them. Create Your Working Directory Creating your own working directory lets you keep all your work in one spot and easy to backup your work. When you change your work station in the lab, you can easily upload your own working directories from your flash to the station you’re sitting. (SEE Robot Automation handbook pg. 9) ‘help’ commend is very useful when you are about to use some of the basic functions or commends. For example, ‘cos’ is universally used to describe cosine, however how it is used is a little different. Please try to figure out how it is going to be used.
