Throughout history, we find certain, distinct men have risen to meet the challenges of the day like no other man in history could have done. Their unique traits and qualities make them the perfect match for the problem that they are destined to deal with. Madison was one such man. His Federalist papers were one of the most important aspects of getting the Constitution passed in the unyielding states. His genius and immense knowledge of government and its most intricate inner workings helped him to devise a system of government that fit the needs of the American people perfectly. Without him and these Federalist papers, who knows what would have happened to this epic "test drive" of the Constitution. The Federalist no. 10 show Madison's understanding of the primary threats to government and, even more importantly, present a logical counter to such threats.
