The statement is important because it allows you to easily see where money is being spent. It can allow you to increase profits and lower costs by using it to determine where most of the money is going. 2) How much money is being spent, where it is being spent, how often it is being spent, and where money is coming in from and how often 3) Financing – tells information regarding bonds and stocks Operations – tells information regarding day to day spending and costs Investment – tells information regarding investments that have been made by the company 5) It is important because it allows investors to see how various things are financed. Without this knowledge it may make investors question the company. They should be disclosed via notes in the statement or in a separate statement entirely. 13)
