E E C S 70A Winter 200 8 Brief Introductory PSPICE Tutorial Note: This tutorial was written for a user running OrCAD 10.0 Demo on a standalone computer. There is also a thorough DC PSPICE tutorial in your textbook starting on page 133. I. Installation Download and install OrCAD 10.0 Demo version. The demo version has all the functionalities and capabilities of the full version and does not expire after a certain time. The only difference is that the size of the circuit is limited. You can download the software at http://www.orcad.com or at the following link: http://webfiles.uci.edu/falhasse/ECE70A/OrCAD_Demo_121903.zip II. Creating a PSPICE project 1. Click on the Start button, move your mouse cursor to either All Programs or Programs depending upon your Start menu configuration, then go to OrCAD 10.0 Demo , and then click on Capture CIS Demo as shown in the screenshot below.
