Application generators of business-oriented software  products such as spreadsheets and database packages. Collaborative environments and web design tools. Course Objectives A basic understanding of computer hardware and software business application generators for word processing, presentations  and spreadsheets communications and the Internet, object linking and embedding,  open source and web design tools, collaborative environments An in-depth understanding of database management tools and their logical modelling framework. computer program development and testing using a 4 th  generation  programming language to increase the functionality of spreadsheets A solid foundation for the use of computers in further  studies
