Key topics include the con- sumer and firm behavior, consumption-savings decision, real interest rate, taxes and government debt. The detailed list of the covered materials is displayed on page 3. The theoretical focus of the course is building basic macroeconomic models from microe- conomic principles. Essentially, the course aims at giving students the tools required to evaluate the impact of various policies using a unified equilibrium framework which comprises the labor, credit and goods markets.
