Since the beginning of this class, my eating habits have changed a lot. I still crave the same old foods that I use to love but now I am more cautious as to what I eat. I feel that I eat with a purpose now instead of eating for satisfaction. I very rarely eat any vegetables at all in my diet. I am lucky to maybe eat some corn on the cob at a cookout. This is something I don’t feel that I will be changing because I don’t like the taste of vegetables. I can not force myself to eat something just because it is good for me. I however have found myself opting for celery sticks instead of potato chips. It is recommended that I consume 5 servings of vegetables per day. I feel this is and will always be hard for me to do. While celery isn’t an ideal vegetable when it comes to nutrition I still find it a healthier choice then chips. This is one area where I haven’t changed much. I am now more aware of the importance of vegetables in my diet but I still don’t eat them. I have tried the new fruit flavored V8 juice because it has 1
