4 Grading Midterm exam I (October 2, 20%) Midterm exam II (November 6, 20%) Final exam (12:30-3:30P, December 15 , 35%) Weekly homework assignments (10%) Four quizzes (15%) No make up or early Final/Midterms/quizzes will be given. All exams are closed book, but you can bring one 8.5x11 page (both sides) of notes to the midterm and three such pages to the final.
5 Homework will be assigned every Tuesday and due at the beginning of the following Tuesday class unless otherwise specified. Late homework will not be accepted. The two lowest homework grades and the lowest quiz grade will be dropped. Solutions will be posted at bSpace and in a glass case in the central corridor of the third floor of Evans Hall.
