Unformatted text preview: Shreveport Motor Mall 2010 Advertising Budget Report In order to better control advertising costs for the upcoming year—and thereby assist in controlling overall costs for Shreveport Motor Mall—the Marketing Department has been making great strides to make the most of its advertising budget. Having exceeded its budget from 2008, the Marketing Department is prepared to reduce its total advertising budget for 2010 by working with print vendors to buy paper earlier, and by negotiating with vendors for multi-service discounts. In 2010 the marketing department will reduce its advertising budget from $115,000 to $95,000. This is a decrease of $20,000, or more than 17 percent.
