In addition to the programs we offer at the Fitness Park, we provide an Eat Healthy, Get Healthy seminar each month. These nutrition guidelines are the same ones distributed during our seminars and provide many recommendations for healthy eating practices. Benefits of Healthy Eating Increases energy level Helps maintain healthy body weight Reduces risk of weight-related disorders and diseases Reduces risk of chronic diseases, including cardiovascular diseases Water Consumption Drinking water is essential for good health. Human bodies are about 60-70% water, and they use water to regulate body temperature, transport nutrients throughout body, and remove waste. Individuals should consume on average six 8-ounce glasses of water each day.
