Saginaw Bay Medical Center—Policies and Procedures Section 3.1–Vacation Time The following sections outline Saginaw Bay Medical Center's policy about regarding vacation time. I. Full-Time Salaried Employees Full-time salaried employees are given paid vacation time based on the number of years of service. Employees can earn up to a maximum of four weeks. During the first full year, vacation time may be prorated to match the employee's date of hire. A. 1-3 years Employees who have been employed full-time for one to three years on the anniversary of their hire date will receive one week of paid vacation. B. 3-5 years Employees who have been employed full-time for three four to five years on the anniversary of their hire date will receive two weeks of paid vacation. C. 5 to 10 years Employees who have been employed full-time for five to ten years on the anniversary of their hire date will receive three weeks of paid vacation. D. More than 10 years Employees who have been employed full-time for more than ten years on the anniversary of their hire date will receive four weeks of paid vacation. II. Hourly Employees
