Objectives: To teach students how to use different equipments of voltage measurements and resistance measurements. Revealing the methods used with different equipments and the difference between each device with the positive and negative sides of the device. Getting to know the nature of AC and DC signals and the difference procedures used to measure the values of such sources. Knowing how to use the Oscilloscope and the Digital voltmeter (DVM) and their different probes. 2
Results: 1) DC Measurements: + - R 1 R L I V S 5 V 10 k R 1 = ________ Measured value of R1 = 10.47 a. Using DVM: Measured value of Vs = 4.84 V Measured Calculated RL (KOhms) V(R1) V(RL) V(R1) V(RL) % Error 1 4.571 0.4372 4.42 0.42 - % 4.1 5 3.388 1.618 3.28 1.56 - % 3.7 10 2.56 2.44 2.48 2.36 - % 3.4 15 2.059 2.947 1.99 2.85 - % 3.4 20 1.722 3.283 1.66 3.18 - % 3.2 40 1.039 3.965 1.00 3.84 - % 3.3 3
