Benson Jr. is the dean of Medicine at the University of Medicine in Portland, Oregon. This summary gives very good information on why marijuana should be legal and used in hospitals. Alan Bock, Waiting to Inhale: The Politics of Medical Marijuana . Santa Ana, CA: Seven Locks Press, 2000. This book explains why and how to obtain marijuana for medical purposes. It tells how people were very against the drug back in the 1930, but in todays day and age, marijuana is becoming legalized in some states like California. The legalization of marijuana in California has given some medical patients some relief. In order to get the drug, you either have to be recommended by a physician, or have a marijuana relief....
