Text: Collier and Evans, OM2, South-Western Cengage Learning Learning Objectives: Student teams will analyze business cases incorporating the views of managers of Operations, Marketing, and Finance. This will provide opportunities to achieve each of the following objectives: Written communication Critical thinking, problem solving and decision making Ethics and corporate social responsibility Leadership and team interaction Innovative business practices Business development and value creation Quizzes and exams: There will be several unannounced pop quizzes during the session. These are intended to encourage students to keep up with the reading. There will be three exams during the semester. Make-ups will only be allowed under extraordinary circumstances. Grading policy: Class Participation: 5% Students (and the instructor) learn more when there is active participation from the students.
