Final Review Guide The final will focus on class material covered after the midterm. Look over the assigned reading on the syllabus and study any notes you have taken. Why is it important to use examples and what do you need to take into consideration when using examples? What do you need to take into consideration when using statistics? What is reasoning? What are some of the different reasoning fallacies? What are the differences between inductive, deductive, causal reasoning and reasoning by analogy? Can you identify these different types of reasoning? What are some of the common principles of a clear explanation? What are the steps in Monroe’s motivated sequence?
