Questions to ask Clients How does one get started developing an OD program? You might learn that managers were expected to work as a team, but no formal mechanisms were in place to bring them together. If you ask questions that are disregarded, you might want to highlight the disregarded topic as a point that hits a nerve, and somehow try to look into the matter. For example, you might ask about the organization’s structure. If no clear answer is provided, that is a topic you would want to ensure you leave the company with, i.e., structure. You might learn that vision, mission, and objectives are lacking in the organization. You must question the nature of someone’s current job and responsibilities. Determine critical incidents of good and poor performance from managers’ managers, and ask people in one level higher about where they saw the company going. ASK ABOUT POSITIVES AND NEGATIVES.
