Capitalism conflicts morally with socialism in that capitalism values the rights and property of the individual at the expense of the rights and property of the community. 2. Capitalism is a social system based on the recognition of individual rights, including property rights, in which all property is privately owned. Therefore, in a capitalistic system, man is free to have his own mind, life, and work. He is free to choose what path to take, but more importantly, he is also able to choose what paths to avoid. As
