EDTE 216 November 5, 2008 AGENDA 5:00-5:10 Establish new compass partners. 5:10-5:35 Peer Discussion of Case Study Discuss case study in trios. Share questions, concerns and tips. How are you doing in writing up your case study? This is your chance to check in and get support if you need it for 15 minutes. Then we’ll have a whole class conversation for 10 minutes. 5:35-6:15 Read the feedback from last week’s class. Discuss with a compass partner for 15 minutes. We’ll follow with whole class conversation about checklists. 6:15-6:25 Break 6:25-6:55 Sign ups Glance through chapters 5-9 in A Teacher’s guide to Standardized Reading Tests. Sign up for one chapter that you will present in small group. Glance through An Observation Survey, or Where’s the Glitch. Choose an assessment you would like to present to the rest of the class in small group. Meet with your group to sketch out a plan. 6:55-7:35
