Light passes thru glass with an index of refraction of 1.5 onto another material. The light is totally  reflected back into the glass for an incident angle of 60º. Determine: a) The index of refraction of the other material b) The incident angle for which the reflected light would be linearly polarized.                 2. A grating used in a lab has 750 rulings/mm and is 6.00 mm wide. Determine: a) The smallest wavelength interval that can be resolved in the second order at  l  = 450 nm. (nm) b) The highest order that can be seen with this grating 3. A 2 cm upright object is placed 4 cm in front of a converging lens of focal length 8 cm. A converging  mirror with a radius of curvature of 12 cm is 12 cm behind the lens as shown below.  a)
