Course Description : GB3040 is an introductory course in statistics and probability theory. Statistical concepts covered in this course include probability theory and distributions, descriptive statistics, sampling theory and distributions, point and interval estimation, hypothesis testing, contingency table tests, and correlation and regression analysis. Statistics courses are a cumulative knowledge-building course. It is very important to stay on top of things and not get behind. It is better to see me early on in the course and get help rather then waiting until the course becomes more difficult. Excel statistical tools will be utilized for data analysis and presentation. Prerequisites:
