Prerequisites:
Satisfaction of ELM requirement; satisfactory score on the MPE, or, Math
19 or Math 19A (with a grade of “B” or better to waive the placement exam).
Course
:
Introduction to Calculus including limits, continuity, differentiation,
applications and introduction to integration. We will learn the concepts of differential
calculus and use them in solving applied problems. We will cover the first 4 chapters in
the book.
Homework/Quiz
: Homework will be assigned on WEBASSIGN after each lecture and
will be due according to schedule.
NO late Homework will be accepted
. There will be 3
paperpencil Homework packets assigned. The homework will be made of odd and even
problems and I will only grade 10 problems from the HW. The problems will be selected
