Some recent federal regulations have been enacted to counter this, namely the DEA’s “Combat Methamphetamine Act of 2006”. This talk will cover the chemical aspects of methamphetamine manufacturing in the so-called Clandestine Laboratory. It will also cover new ways the speaker has developed to analyze data derived from Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) for methamphetamine and chemically similar (isomeric) molecules.
