Realtime Images and Plots PicoView includes two main ways to view data. The Realtime Images window lets you display scan data as it is being acquired (in "real time") or after it has been saved ("off line"). The Realtime Plots window displays Spectroscopy and other data gathered at a single scan position. Plot data can also be viewed as it is being acquired (in "real time") or after it has been saved ("off line"). Data from both the Realtime Images and Realtime Plots windows can be saved as .mi files for later use. Realtime Images Window The Realtime Images window lets you control and display data that is read from the sample scan. The data can be displayed in "real time" (as it is being acquired) or "off line" (once it has been saved and opened again). To open the Realtime Images window click the Imaging Toolbar button . This also opens the Servo and Scan and Motor dialog boxes, which include settings that directly impact imaging. In the Realtime Images window multiple data channels can be displayed simultaneously as 2D or 3D images, or "buffers." Changing the size of the Realtime Images window will automatically resize the images within the window. All images will be updated in real time during a scan. The Realtime Images window includes a number of controls as well as its own menu options: File Menu Controls Menu Tools Menu 3D View Menu
