Silicon Valley is part of larger social structures—California, the United States, and the global workforce. What parts of Silicon Valley culture are special? What parts are simply American? Silicon Valley is not only a center for technological research and production, but a laboratory for the creation of a multicultural society. The power of technology, work, community connections, and family can be explored through the experiences of the people who live and work in this distinctive region. Course Assignments and Assessments Each student will take an examination of ten short-answer questions in April.
