Short Essay 1 Purpose The purpose of this essay is to apply the concepts learned from the first 4 weeks of the course and apply them to the analysis of a work of documentary filmmaking. This will show your ability to identify arguments and their components, determine the type of reasoning used by the documentary filmmaker and the interviewees, and to assess the language used. Task Visit http://www.bodocus.com and watch a documentary of your choice. Using the Bassham, et al text as a source, you are to write a minimum 750-word (approx. 3 pages), double-spaced, 10 or 12 point font essay on the following: - What is the primary argument of the documentary?
