Pie Chart Directions Using Excel: Naturalized BY Region of World 1) Select data of interest. An easy way to do this is to highlight first cell you want to use, hold down the shift key, select last cell and data of interest will be ready for use. 2) Select 'Pie Chart' from Insert tab in the Excel contextual tab in ribbon choose first pie under ‘2D pie’; 3) Select 'Data Labels' which is under the 'Layout’ tab in the ribbon 4) Move down to 'More Data Options’ which is under the 'Data labels' tab which is under the ‘Layout’ tab in the Excel ribbon 5) Under ‘Format Data labels’ select radio buttons Percentage and Best fit. Click close. 6) Hit 'Select Data' which is under 'Design' tab in ribbon and ‘Select Data Source’ will come up; 7) Click on 'Legend' at right. Hit 'Select Data' which is under the 'Design' tab in the ribbon. Where it says 'horizontal axis labels' select edit. This brings up box labeled 'Axis Label Range' Note: You may have to move your pie chart to be able to
