SOC 104 DUE DATE SPSS EX2 – Frequency Distributions The goal of this assignment is for you to learn how to produce frequency distributions using SPSS (later during the semester you will learn to do these by hand as well). A frequency distribution is a description of the number of times that an attribute of a variable is observed in a sample. It is a very basic way of summarizing data. The variables you will be summarizing with a frequency distribution for this assignment are sex ,race, polviews, hlth5, gunlaw, cappun, and relig . In addition to creating frequency distributions you will also have to make tables for the gunlaw, and relig variables. Finally, as with all assignments you will need to write a report where you describe what you have done and any problems you encountered during the process. In this report you should also include a section where you describe the results from the tables. To show you how to do this I will produce frequency distribution output and a table for the variable workstat.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
