Figure 2. A diagram of the experimental setup
Figure 2 is an illustration of
how the apparatus had been set up for the experiment. In
order to receive input signal, the audio amplifier was connected to the signal generator using
a stereo coupler and an extension cable. Then, the signal generator was connected as Channel
1(Input Signal) to the oscilloscope. Next, one of the speaker was cut off and connected to the
Channel 2(Output Signal) of
the oscilloscope using crocodile clips. Lastly, the other speaker
was used to check if the amplifier is functionable by producing sound.
