The material should be prepared in manuscript form acceptable for publication submission. The final portfolio must contain the revised drafts of the following pieces of writing: Annotated bibliography (including magazine and book publications) Short survey of a magazine or periodical’s history (1,000 to 1,500 words) Book review (1,000 to 1,500 words) Personal literary essay (2,000 – 5,000 words, with list of works cited)
