Philosophy 186 Group Project Your group project consists of both an oral and a written component. Each component counts for 10 points. In your written report, please include the following: 1. A description of the case or issue you will be discussing. Please clear your case or issue with me. 2. A description of the ethical issues that are raised in this case or issue. 3. A strategy for resolving the ethical issue and for avoiding similar problems in the future. (Remember to talk about other possible solutions including the status quo.) Show how this strategy is morally defensible. This involves the following: a) a Utilitarian discussion of possible solutions and how your solution is the best. b1) a Kantian analysis of possible rules and how your solution is consistent with universalizable rules, and how your solution does not treat people merely as means but as ends in themselves. You should also talk about what problems other possible solutions would have. OR b2) a Moral Rights discussion where you talk about what rights are involved in the case and how
