Principles of Accessibility that are true for Word apply to PowerPoint (Review Word Handout) For example, add hyperlink description and include text equivalent information for images. Tips for Creating Accessible Power Point Documents Avoid blank slide  layouts but choose a slide layout options (Insert=>New Slide, right click on  slide and choose layout;  or  choose layout from formatting palette). Ensure  each slide has a title  since it serves as the heading structure for the document similar  to the document map/styles in Word. Do not insert textboxes
