The lenses are supported by a tube and fixed to have a separation of 10 cm as shown below. An object is to be placed to the left of the objective lens and viewed by eye to the right of the eyepiece. The eyepiece acts as a simple magnifier for the image of the object to be formed just to the left of the eyepiece (inside the tube). For comfortable viewing, the image should be one focal length to the left of the eyepiece, so that the image formed by the eyepiece is at infinity (appropriate for a relaxed eye). Your jobs are to: (1) determine where the object should be placed (at what distance to the left of the objective lens); (2) sketch the ray diagram
