I am writing this report with my parent’s house in mind. I live at 3044 Beckley Dr., San Jose. It is a two-story house built in 1975. The house is not earthquake ready at all. There are only a couple of things that are up to code. There are seven people that live there, my parents, three brothers, one sister and I. We moved into the house in October 2004. During the day the only person here is usually my mom doing work for my dad’s business. At about 3 in the afternoon is when my brothers and sister come home from school and everybody is in and out of the house till around 9 PM when, for the most part, everyone is back at home till the morning. My dad gets home at about 4 PM every day from work and stays there till the morning when he leaves at about 7 AM. I am only usually home when I sleep, due to the amount of schoolwork that I have and the fact that I work at least 20 hours a week at my job too.
