Unformatted text preview: A very hotly debated issue in the United States exists when it comes to the right of an abortion. There are two general terms used to identify to one side of the belief, pro choice and pro life. A common misconception of abortion is when people feel that only women should be accredited for their beliefs and values on the issue, since they are the ones who are capable of becoming pregnant and giving birth to a child. However, men are just as much a part of this, because it takes a combination of both sexes in order to produce a child. Different factors are taken in drastically on people when they set their own arguments for pro choice and pro life. Pro life is fairly complicated because abortion is examined from a scientific point of view. Pro life is defined as people’s beliefs that no child should be killed before they are delivered by their mothers.
